[Blue and pink dog, purple and brown striped dog.]
Other people draw quality test pictures. I…don’t.
Brush in GIMP, then assorted brushes in the new MyPaint. Well, not new new, but I took a while to get the update. I don’t like the toolbar, but some of the other changes are a huge improvement, and it’s so responsive—it’s not got smoothing like Sai, but I think I’ve finally found brushes aaaaalmost as nice as oC 1.1. I must try more things.

“Friend???”
“NO”
And that was how Gin got swatted across the nose.
I can’t draw people, so have what I can draw from two things I like that have Ginga in the name, albeit with different kanji. They end up near each other on AO3? Yes, that’s my excuse.

Making myself draw things even though they are pants, take 2. A bit less impressive than the Digimon, but look, trees!
[Image: Three wolves. One is fluffy and brown and white, the second grey with white markings, and the third black with white markings.]
More of what I mentioned here. The filename for this was woooooooolves.jpg. Yep. I may like spots-over-eyes and spot-on-forehead type markings a bit much. (Even more horribly adorable: Malamute puppies with both.)
Intentional polydactyl-looking toes are intentional, rest of the anatomy is my fault~.

Tuxpaint drawing of a character from a trippy plot-driven dream that I am far too lazy to sort out into proper narrative. It was more on the xenofiction-to-sci-fantasy side, even if my brain was uncreative and WOLVES, so I’m still occasionally tempted.

Needs more baby animals.

Oh look, this thing again. I found a MyPaint brush a little more like the ones in oC, though sadly not with as nice of blending. On the other hand, MyPaint lets me adjust brush size on the fly with the keyboard. One-key actions for that, undo/redo, color pickup, and a lot of other things rocks.
[Image: A happy stick figure human talking to a little cartoon dog labeled Wiki. “Hello my friend, let me update you.” In the next panel, the dog has fallen over and has Xes for eyes, while the stick human frowns.]
Well, that was a productive way to spend an evening. At least it was only the image uploads so I can try to fix it later?
Also have this stunning rendition of a HTML-monster I drew for plink-does-stuff.
[Image: A fluffy spitz dog-like Arcanine in yellow and blue. The background is pink with yellow plants.]
Arcanine’s HG/SS following sprite reminds me of dogs like chows. You just know later you’ll be pulling plant bits out of all that fluff.
Drawn (along with the previous Liger Zero) this morning while waiting for a binder to dry. Typing without one to squish things still kinda hurts, and the drains left some nasty bruisey swollen bits on top of all the rest. Ow ow ow.
[Image: A white spitz dog lying on its side, looking unimpressed with the lack of background to go with the grey-purple void it’s stuck in.]
Unfinished thing, as closed when I was trying to get rid of the huge swarm of windows I’d left open before shutting Luke down pre-surgery. Sorry, Akame, you get no nose/background/proper anatomy. I was trying to get down that eternally wise old mentor-type (who…never ages) face he has going on.
I’m one of those people that opens way, way too many tabs and windows and then forgets about them :p.
