Too many robot cats!

Zoids that look unexpectedly nice together:

Fire Fox and Siegdober. Zeekdober. Whatever. (Somewhere, German is sad.)

They’re not even the same red (Siegdober’s is more glossy and the tiniest bit more orange), and Fire Fox has dark brown, not black, but…somehow they look like they should be friends despite being very differing sorts of Empire. They’re definitely up to something.

[D-Style Bloody Death Saurer and Shield Liger snuggling. Maybe.]

Not sure if friends…or trying to eat Van.

[D-Style Shield Liger, with the last pic it sitting on a tablet playing visualizations.]

I’m annoyed this camera can’t focus as close as my old one, but on the other hand—these are unedited night shots, and they don’t look like blurry grainy miscolored ick. They’re a bit washed out, but that’s easier to fix if I feel like it :p.

[Lots of blue Zoids Shield Ligers, mostly mini versions.]

White glue doesn’t want to stay put at all, but it gave me a good idea of how much added bulk I want for the Liger’s escaping legs, so later I’ll have to get out my clearcoat. In the meantime, lots of Shield Ligers. I should retake this in natural light (or at least more light), though then you’d be able to see how dusty most of the others are…

Old (1989) candy toy/Kabaya Liger is left out because I still need to have another go at gluing/pinning it back together, but present are newer (more like 1999 or maybe 2000—my brain still thinks that’s newer!) candy toy, blue One Blox (which also falls apart constantly because the Blox in them have crappy rubber), blinky keychain (which has long since stopped blinking), two minis (card game and old colors Shieldy), larger Mini Collection mini, blue Hasbro action figure, and of course motorized.

The perspective makes it look bigger than it is versus the motorized Liger. Seriously, it’s teeny.

Quick Riesegeno scale/contents pictures! (And a D-Style Gustav, because aaah those tiny shell halves. And see, painted bits!)

The (requested!) blue comparison one was taken at night and is a bit dodgy, sorry. I’ll try again later in natural light. Though I’d say it’s almost but not quite (it’s a tiny tiny bit more purple) like the MSS Shield Liger blue—which is meant to be like the OJR blue. The Zero Phoenix and Gairyuuki are both darker and definitely not a match, though they might look nice around each other depending on how color picky you are.

…is Gairyuuki not supposed to match the Zero Phoenix/Rayse Tiger blue, or did I sun fade mine horribly? I honestly can’t remember.

Gashapon Gungy can switch modes even though it is teeny, and right now teeny things are extremely adorable to me. So! With Pokemon and a KFM Zero for scale.

The way it does this is pretty clever: besides the (also movable, though it likes to fall off) gun, it’s made of a head half and a butt half, both of which have a long bar piece between their sides that clips into the torso part. I don’t think I’ll want to be constantly shifting it, but it’s nice detail for what once was a cheap mini figure. Not so much now; other than a few sets, the minizoids have gotten annoyingly rare.

Fuzors Gravity Saix is here to help test photosets, both in front of some fractals and with Honeybuzz. Old pics, I just needed some to try.

…okay, I’m probably going to Tumblr-hell for liking something about the update, but I actually like this photo posting interface better.

Lidier: It’s like a lion soldier, but smoother. And standing on robot cat high heels.

[D-Style Bloody Death Saurer riding a Helcat]

I signed up for the Empire thinking I’d get to do cool things.

Now I just get to carry THIS thing around.

Camera crammed up by a glass ball ornament but set to focus about the distance away the back of the ornament is = shiny glitter ball.

Any interest in a fair number of very similar (just different glittery patterns) pictures like this at full size for use as Photoshop textures and the like?
